My Approach

Many bright students have learning gaps that must be addressed before they can truly “read to learn”, yet not all parents know how to bridge them. I specialize in identifying and filling those gaps through highly interactive, research-based instruction. I combine structured literacy with responsive, personalized teaching that restores confidence and puts reading where it belongs - as a gateway for learning across all subjects.  

A graduate of Middlebury College, with a master’s in education from The College of New Jersey, I am certified at the Associate level with the Orton-Gillingham Academy. I bring experience from classrooms at Peddie School in Hightstown, NJ and St. Paul’s School in Chile, as well as from private tutoring and homeschooling my three children. I teach online as well as in-person.
